What you will do

• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code

• Improving the technical landscapes across the project by enforcing best practices

• Build scalable software applications and get involved in architectural design

• Use the best practices and code coverage tools to ensure code quality

• Participate in effort estimates, design/code reviews, and guide the team towards best practices and coding standard adherence

• Mentoring and guiding the team members towards successful delivery and technical excellence

• Adhere to Rootcode’s established information security policies and procedures, including but not limited to data protection, access controls, encryption standards, and secure coding practices.

What we expect

• Holding a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science or a related field

• 4+ years of experience in ASP.NET/ C# based technologies

• Experience in .NET Core and Web API

• Familiarity with any of the databases MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Non-Relational Databases (Elasticsearch, MongoDB)

• Working proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

• Ability to itemize and estimate deliverables, and author technical specs

• Willingness to learn different programming paradigms, languages and technologies is a requirement

• Need to be an experienced team lead, with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills

• Should be self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to lead and front customers in the investigation of technical issues
