Alagan Mahalingam

Founder & CEO, Rootcode

Alagan is the Founder and CEO of the Rootcode. Before founding Rootcode, he co-founded Singify, an AI singing and learning app that was nominated for Asia Pacific ICT Awards. After the successful acquisition of Singify, Alagan went on to focus on helping other enterprises and governments build technology and AI solutions. Alagan was awarded a special title, “ICT Entrepreneur of the year” at the National ICT Awards in 2021 and also the Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2024. He is also the envoy for the government of Estonia e-residency.

Mangala Perera is the COO of Rootcode. He has over 25 years of industry experience. Before joining Rootcode, He served as the VP-Software Operations at IFS. Mangala’s experience in managing Software operations of a global organization and building IFS Sri Lanka from less than 50 people to 1500+ people helps Rootcode scaleup with stability.
