What you will do

• Partner with product and engineering teams to translate business and user goals into intuitive, user-friendly designs that deliver measurable impact.

• Develop and uphold design standards, guidelines, and processes to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across products and teams.

• Review and refine UI components and layouts, prioritising improvements that strengthen design systems, enable responsive and mobile-first approaches, and elevate the overall user experience.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring design deliverables meet timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships by deeply understanding business objectives and identifying opportunities for UX enhancements.

• Champion secure and ethical design by ensuring interfaces prioritise authentication, data privacy, and protection against potential vulnerabilities.

• Provide creative direction, mentorship, and feedback to junior designers, fostering excellence in design outputs that meet client and product needs.

• Nurture a culture of growth within the design team by encouraging continuous learning, constructive feedback, and professional development opportunities.

What we expect

• 5+ years of proven experience designing web and mobile applications with measurable user impact.

• A bachelors and/or masters degree in Design, IT, or a related field.

• A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in interaction design, visual design, and usability best practices.

• Strong visual design skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Deep knowledge of UX principles, accessibility standards, and design best practices.

• Advanced proficiency with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Demonstrated experience collaborating with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into intuitive, user-cantered solutions.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly, uncover issues through dialogue, and influence stakeholders.

• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with a passion for developing and growing design teams.
