This year’s Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA), held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, from 4th to 8th December, brought together the region’s most innovative technology companies to celebrate excellence in digital product development. APICTA is one of the most prestigious recognitions in the Asia-Pacific region, honouring products that push boundaries in impact and real-world problem-solving. On this stage, Rootcode achieved an incredible milestone - winning three awards across three categories.
The highlight of the evening was our product, Skapp, being named the Winner in the Business Services - ICT Service Solutions category. Skapp is our unified business workspace that brings people, projects, time, leave, e-signatures, and invoicing into one connected platform. It was built to help businesses overcome the day-to-day operational friction that comes from working across multiple tools, and this recognition reflects the growing value it delivers.
Urbanora, our AI-driven citizen engagement platform, received the 1st Runner-Up award in the Citizen Services - Public Sector and Government category. This achievement reflects the impact of our work with governments, including the City of Prague, where Urbanora helps improve how citizens and city officials communicate and manage city-wide issues. Finally, our product, Clamigo, was awarded 2nd Runner-Up in the Industrial - Agriculture, Environment, and Sustainability category. Built in collaboration with the City of Porto in Portugal, Clamigo is an AI-powered smart farming solution that combines a mobile app with IoT hardware to help small-scale farmers and community gardeners monitor crop conditions and adapt to the effects of climate change. By turning real-time sensor data into practical, sustainable recommendations, it supports healthier crops and more resilient local food systems. Click here to read the full case study.
Winning awards across three categories at APICTA is a proud moment for all of us at Rootcode, and is a testament to the hard work our teams put into creating products that solve real problems and add value. It motivates us to keep strengthening our solutions and continue building technology that makes a meaningful difference.
