As part of our ongoing efforts through Rootcode Foundation, we are excited to announce the official rollout of Smart School, our custom-built school management system, at Mawathgama Kanishta Vidyalaya - the school we adopted last year.

Smart School was developed with one goal in mind: to make school administration easier, smarter, and more efficient for educators. The platform enables teachers to manage core academic tasks such as recording student attendance, entering marks, and generating comprehensive reports, all in one place.

The system also produces report formats that are fully aligned with the requirements of the government’s district examination division, ensuring smoother compliance. On top of that, Smart School gives educators access to powerful insights, including individual student performance tracking, class-level summaries, subject-wise grade analysis, and more. These features help teachers better understand learning outcomes and support their students more effectively.

Recently, our team visited Mawathgama Kanishta Vidyalaya to officially launch the system. During this visit, we set up the system, created individual accounts for teachers, and conducted a hands-on training session to guide them through using the platform. The session included demonstrations of key features, real-time Q&A, and personalized onboarding support.
