At Rootcode Foundation, one of our core initiatives when adopting a school is building and opening a fully equipped computer lab. Aimed at expanding the sustainability of our efforts, this initiative ensures that the students have access to the resources needed to continue learning technology education even once the project is concluded.

What made this initiative truly special was the hands-on involvement of our Rootcoders that goes into preparing the designated area for the computer lab. They usually spend an entire weekend at the school getting their hands dirty, cleaning, painting, and making all required renovations to the lab area.

To ensure long-term impact, Rootcode Foundation also covers the school’s internet costs for two years, allowing students and teachers to explore online learning resources without limitations. By equipping underprivileged schools with the necessary infrastructure, we hope that it will help them integrate technology into education, making digital skills more accessible to their students.
